Alpine Market

About Alpine Market

Alpine Market is a Swiss property marketplace and property intelligence platform. We aggregate the listing portals we can reach, merge duplicate listings into one record per physical property, and keep that record's history. It is free for buyers, renters and sellers.

Who operates the platform

Alpine Market is operated by Flamingo Investments Sarl, a Swiss company. The platform is part of the Alpine group, alongside Alpine Business Exchange, the group's marketplace for Swiss SME acquisitions. The two platforms share engineering and data practice but hold separate databases and separate user accounts.

Alpine Market is not a brokerage. We do not represent buyers or sellers in a transaction, we do not hold client funds, and we take no commission on a sale.

What the platform does

The Swiss property market is spread across a dozen or more listing portals, and the same apartment can appear on several of them under different reference numbers, different photographs and sometimes different prices. Nothing ties those appearances together, so a property that has been relisted three times over two years looks like three new properties.

Alpine Market aggregates the listing portals it can reach, merges duplicate appearances of the same physical property into one canonical record, keeps that record when the listing disappears and reappears, and enriches it with price history, days on market, an Alpine Estimate valuation, and recorded transfers from official registers where we hold them. On 2026-09-02 we held 91’901 active listings across 4 portals, counted per portal and added up rather than counted as distinct properties. The data sources page lists each one with its count, and the methodology page explains how the merging and the valuation work.

What it costs

Search, property records, price history and the Alpine Estimate are free for buyers, renters and sellers. There is no listing fee and no paywalled search. The platform is funded through professional services built on top of the same data, not by charging readers for access to it.

What we do not publish

We never publish the name of a private individual: not a buyer, not a seller, not a notary, not an agent. Recorded transfers are published as price, date and type only. Where a register entry leaves the nature of a transfer unclear, we withhold the price rather than guess at it. The methodology page sets out both rules in full.
