What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and password (stored hashed), plus your chosen language, when you create an account.
• Saved searches and favorites: the search filters you save and the properties you favorite, so we can alert you to new matches and let you find them again.
• Leads: the name, email, phone number, and message you submit through an inquiry, valuation request, or seller listing form, or that you send us by email.
• Usage data: pages visited and features used, collected to keep the platform reliable and to understand which pages are useful.

Analytics

We use two measurement services: Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics. They tell us which pages are used and where a journey stops, so we can fix the parts that do not work.

What is never sent to either: your email address, your name, your phone number, the text of any message or question you write, and the text you type into a search box. Not a street address, not a map area, not the name of a place you picked.

What is sent: counts, yes or no flags, and labels from a fixed list. For a search, for example, how many filters were active, whether a location was set at all, and which size band the result count fell into. These are enforced in our code by an allow list: a value that is not a number, a flag or one of the fixed labels cannot be transmitted.

Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we switch both providers off for your visit: no page view and no event is recorded. You can also stop all of it at the source with your browser's tracking-protection settings or with any analytics blocker; nothing on this site depends on it.

Public property listing data

Alpine Market aggregates property listing data (address, price, photos, agent or agency contact details) from publicly available Swiss property portals and public sources. We process this data under legitimate interest: it is already published by the original source with the intent of reaching prospective buyers and renters, and we display the original source alongside every listing we show. If a listing should not appear on our platform, contact us and we will review and remove it.

Agent and agency contact data

Where a listing carries an agent or agency name, email, or phone number, we process that contact data under legitimate interest, for the purpose of routing buyer and renter inquiries and, occasionally, contacting the agent about a specific listing (for example, to request missing information or verify a detail). Any agent or agency can opt out of further contact at any time by emailing info@alpinemarket.ch, and we honor opt-outs permanently.

Legal basis and your rights

We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), and, for visitors in the EU/EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), on the grounds of contract performance (your account and messages), legitimate interest (public listing data, platform security, agent contact for routing), and consent (marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time). You have the right to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Data hosting and retention

Account, lead, and listing data is stored with our database provider, Supabase. Account data is retained for the life of your account; leads are retained as long as needed to respond to the inquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period afterward. We never sell personal data to third parties.
